False: Patients running on the street as Chengdu hospital collapsed in June 2023. Footage from a movie set in China has surfaced in posts that falsely claim it shows patients escaping from a psychiatric hospital in the southwestern city of Chengdu. The video, which attracted more than 1.5 million views on Twitter, shows people running and screaming in the street. The production team behind the movie said it in fact shows the filming of an upcoming comedy, while a similar video circulating online shows a member of the production crew shouting "action!" at the start of the clip.
